La Casa dei Nonni is located in Castelbianco a small village in the Ligurian hinterland that became part of the "Most Beautiful Villages of Italy" in 2008, a few hills separate it from the beautiful beaches of Alassio.
Castelbianco is the first town one encounters going up the Pennavaire Valley, twenty minutes from the plain of Albenga. The valley is dominated by the limestone ramparts of Mount Nero ( 981 mt) and Mount Castellermo with its 1092 mt.
Here in Castelbianco curiously there is no real "center" of the village, but it is formed by four hamlets, each with its own village: Vesallo, Veravo, Oresine and Colletta known as the first telematic village.
The Grandparents' House is located in the hamlet of Vesallo.
If you arrive by the A10 Genova-Ventimiglia highway, exit at Albenga, turn left towards Castelbianco.
Go through the town of Cisano sul Neva and once you reach the village of Martinetto turn left onto the SP 14, after about 5 km you will meet a junction with a sign for the hamlet of Vesallo, here turn right , proceed for about 1 km and you will have arrived at Casa dei Nonni.
