Our products

Our farm consists of about 3 hectares of land cultivated partly as an orchard, partly as a vegetable garden and mainly as an olive grove.
The olive groves number about 800 trees and represent the main cultivation of the farm.
The olive tree is undoubtedly one of the characteristic elements of the Ligurian landscape, present in the area as early as 3000 B.C., although it is only since the late 1700s that cultivation has expanded considerably on hilly and mountainous slopes of the region, up to the extreme climatic limits of the crop itself. The climate, exposure and soil are ideal for ensuring a high quality product.

The extra virgin olive oil

You can taste the extra virgin olive oil, the flagship of our farm, an oil with a very low degree of acidity, produced from taggiasca, pignola and merlina olives, traditional cultivars of our area. The olive groves are conducted without the use of herbicides and pesticides, the olives are harvested and brought to the mill in a very short time, and are stone ground. We obtain an oil with a delicate flavor, with an aftertaste slightly reminiscent of pine nuts, slightly bitter on the finish.

The Castelbianco cherry

Ancient and traditional cultivation here in Castelbianco is that of the cherry, and our farm is one of the few remaining that continue to practice it with about 200 plants. To taste the different typical varieties, we recommend that you visit us in the period from May 10 - 15 until the first decade of June. While throughout the rest of the year you can taste them in the form of jam.
Also not to be missed is the spectacle of cherry blossom in March.

Jams and the vegetable garden

In addition to cherries, our orchards provide us with a good crop of apricots, plums, figs, lemons and oranges, from which we make jams and juices that you will find among other things on the breakfast table.

In the garden we harvest seasonal vegetables and herbs. Among the various vegetables grown, we mention those typical of the Albenga area such as the trombetta zucchini and the ox-heart tomato, as well as those indigenous to the Pennavaire Valley such as the renowned "gianetto" bean.
